Emerald Coast Business Intermediaries was formed to provide a new level of service for those looking to sell and buy businesses in NW Florida and South Alabama. Known as “The Business Owner’s Business Broker”, our intermediaries are trained to the highest professional standards. They have years of experience and our managing intermediary in the Destin office has been helping people to sell and buy businesses for over 20 years. Our Team

The Emerald Coast Team is comprised of a group of experienced entrepreneurs that have started, bought, and sold businesses, and also participated in numerous national and regional mergers and acquisitions. Each member has their own individual skill sets and abilities, while overall possessing a strong business acumen. We understand both sides of buying and selling a business, and our number one priority is to meet and exceed your expectations. Each member of the ECBI Team holds a Florida Real Estate license, but we only do business sales for companies with or without real estate ownership. Selling Businesses is our only Business!

Greg Hasley is a successful entrepreneur with 29 years of sales and management experience and 18 years logistics experience. Greg founded a same day courier company that grew both organically and through acquisitions to become one of the leading same day solutions providers in the Southeast. Prior to being sold to a private equity group in January 2012, the company had grown to 18 different offices with over 700 people. Greg also founded a custom transport company that provides specialized transportation and supply chain services to the oil and gas industry. This business is currently operating in the major shale plays. Greg has been involved in over two dozen startups, mergers, acquisitions and sales. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Greg is a past American Red Cross board member and is active in his community. He also holds a private pilot’s flying license with over 2,000 flying hours.

A veteran business intermediary with 20 years of experience doing both Main Street and M&A transactions, Jeff has the knowledge to guide buyers and sellers through the acquisition and divestiture process. He received the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association. After over 15 years in plant, operations, and general management, with large food companies, including helping to sell a manufacturing and distribution division, Jeff and his wife Sheree opened an office with one of the large business brokerage franchises. As a licensed real estate broker in both Alabama and Florida, Jeff has been involved in the sale of many businesses in his career as a professional business broker. Now managing the local office as an affiliate of the CBI+Team, he looks forward to helping you with a successful business transaction.

Jerome is a French and Belgium citizen who immigrated to Northwest Florida in 2013. During his career, he’s embraced both the buying and selling side of the banking and financial industry. During his time in the asset management industry he successfully created, implemented and managed from scratch a trading desk, an asset backed securities portfolio and a global bond arbitrage portfolio. Since moving to the US, he has held positions as a business strategic consultant and financial adviser. Jerome brings his extensive knowledge of finance and business negotiation to help you sell your business faster and more efficiently.

Daniel is a 4th generation Florida panhandle native, who was raised in Walton County. Outgoing and entrepreneurial by nature, he was drawn to the business world when he was just a boy, selling produce from his family farm.  Daniel has a Finance degree from Auburn University.  Since graduation, Daniel has worked extensively in sales where he excelled at developing and maintaining customer relationships, winning numerous accolades and awards. In his current role with Emerald Coast Business Intermediaries, he excels in bringing his area knowledge, financial acumen and small business skills together to design a professional, personal approach to each business engagement. He will help you sell your business for the best price in the shortest amount of time.  Daniel also believes in helping those in need and giving back to the community. He is a member of the Brain Disorder Support Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors and is a founding member of Friends for Autism Awareness.

Michelle is a 19-year sales and marketing veteran who specializes in formulating competitive marketing plans to help business owners sell their businesses. Prior to joining the company, she was the Community Relations Director for a Central Florida law firm and also consulted with western companies in the Philippines.  As an Executive Director of an Orlando furniture bank she introduced social enterprise and a recycling program that created self-sustaining revenue and offered empowering employment opportunities to those transitioning their lives. She is a Business Administration graduate of the University of Central Florida, Vice President of the Board of Directors with Rebuilding Together Orlando, and a Fellow of the Florida Bar Foundation.
